On Saturday, Pleasant Grove had its Heritage Festival. We checked it out and peeked in on the quilt show. Next year I'll have to take a quilt to display. This quilt was my favorite. It is machine appliqued, but I can still appreciate all the time it took to cut out and sew each of the little pieces before they were appliqued. Plus, the theme was perfect.

Now that our
play set is finished, the children enjoy playing on it with their friends and cousins. Brenna loves the little swing. Unfortunately it isn't designed for infants so you have to stand right next to her.

Always work to be done in the garden. Here Spencer is defending Lauren from garden pests as she harvests the cucumbers.

Be gone foul vermin! Snails and slugs before. Spencer the
Squasher is here!

This is the little inflatable pool I put Brenna in to play while I weed. The kids help keep her entertained.

Very entertained.

What a handy use of a playpool!
Gotta love that blue fingernail polish, especially on Brenna's toes. Emma said she recognized the bald head :D
Anne just loved seeing pictures of Spencer and Lauren! Especially Spence in his Link hat; she wants to come over and play! I'm just jealous of your cucumbers. I still don't have anything that wonderful looking coming from my garden.
