- I am a mother to three beautiful and intelligent children. My husband is the most wonderful man in the world and a lawyer, if you can believe it. I love to read, sew, cross stitch, cook, and watch PBS. Nova is one of my favorite shows. I finally have a beautiful home with a fun sewing room and I am getting to some of my piled up projects. I am excitedly anticipating winter snows which will signal the end of weeding and mowing for a season. Those hours will be filled with sewing!

Such a cutie. As I said on Kristi's blog, this last trip out west has left me feeling there is nothing here in Iowa that is keeping me from moving back home. Dad's job is the only thing. When he retires there will be nothing.
We'd like that a lot. Then we could have the grandkid sleepovers you speak of and easier gatherings. Five years isn't so long really.
She is close to crawling!!! But even more I like that she took her hat off. I've made a lasting impression:)hehehe
