Lauren and Spencer played some croquet with Grandpa. Lauren's swing was pretty impressive. Spencer kept hitting the grass so he played by his own rules.
We found a park to visit one morning while waiting for other festivities to begin. The children loved it.

The Medieval festival attire was fantastic. First we have the Patriarch of the Snow clan in all his homespun glory. Next is our hero Spencer dressed as Link. I knit the hat, wrist warmer and leg warmer he is wearing. Now that I've practiced I shall be making some for myself. Ahh, it is I the fate alchemy professor. We each prepared a booth for the children to visit and learn about Medieval things. They were all really impressive. I'm sorry I wasn't able to go around to them all especially the weaving booth. Next is the little princess Lauren and then Lauren and Spencer running on the stage. The last picture is a bunch of fair maidens sporting the wench cinchers made by my Aunt Lucy. They were quite stylish. Obviously, being pregnant I did not get one.

very uncomfortable wench cinches if I say so myself. I'm sure glad they went out of fashion!
as I said before...your family has cool family reunions. Did Ben go with you guys?
This was so much fun! I miss hanging out with everyone!
Yes Ben was able to go. He was in Chicago for the first day, but joined us that evening. He had to miss Medieval Day, such a shame.
