Lauren got her first school pictures taken! She told me they had to take several shots of her before they got a good one. She tends to blink or squint for bright flashes. I was worried the picture would end up looking funny because they'd just give up and say 'good enough'. Actually I think it turned out quite cute and it is definitely Lauren. The picture reminds me a little of my sister Emma's school pictures.

I love it! I'm so glad she has her eyes open! And they must have told her to really open those eyes! SO cute. As far as the bruise...that's really odd! Maybe you were just rubbing your eye one morning as you were waking up or something. I highly doubt it was from lack of sleep. That would be really weird. I can't wait to see what you make with your new fabric!
I think this pictures looks like your kindergarten picture. Talk about stepping back into the past! I'll have to scan yours and send it along.
Adorable!! What a perfect blend of you and Ben she is. I have my own fears and expectations about Lincoln's first school picture that will be taken next Wednesday. I think he is going to have a really big cheesy smile with really tightly squinted eyes. I hope I am wrong.
