When the Commercial World Fails You. . .

Make your own stuff! I looked on the internet yesterday for Linkware undies and found nothing. Today the kids and I bought some more training pants, now we have 6 pairs, and we drew some pictures.
Spencer loves them and I think they will be a great encouragement for him. If he gets Link wet, he can't wear him any more. He'll be so sad when the first pair gets wet. So far we have one pair of green Link and one pair of red Link. Lauren wanted to draw Zelda on a pair of her undies too. I just love the back of the red Link pair!
At least now Nintendo merchandise distributers know there is a market, albeit a small one, for Legend of Zelda underwear and training pants.

I actually visited that site in my search. They don't carry children's underwear, but I did see some cute shirts. I figured I should stop searching and just make my own. ;)

That is too funny! What did you use to color the pictures with? sharpies? I'll have to get Jonny to draw Spencer some link undies too. He would love it! I want to post these on the family web page.

Make sure you use fabric markers. I thought the sharpies would be ok, but after the first accident they are bleeding. I will have to wash them separately and do touch ups. Maybe if I heat set them in the dryer it will be ok. Spencer would love some undies from Uncle Jon. So would Lauren.

How fun! That is so great that we both thought of that idea. THey look great! I want to see the ones that Jon makes for them.

Way to be innovative. Nothing like getting them more invested in everything to get them more motivated too.
