Lauren and I researched this report for school together and then we discussed the facts we learned. Lauren composed it herself and I helped edit the spelling. She then wrote a final draft and read it to her class. I'm very impressed with her work. I wasn't doing reports until third or fourth grade, I think.

I love it! You should use some water base paint to paint blood on the zebra. Great use of all those animals. Too bad I didn't send you any of the Lion King hyenas. ;~)

dang, I was amazed at Lauren's reading and writing skills when we visited. I can't believe how advanced she is, coming from a person going into education. There is a staggering amount of children not getting their basic phonics and reading levels in check. We need more kids as smart as she is, or hard-working parents like you lol :D
