I got tired of not being able to find modest skirts for Lauren so I made one. I was a bit worried because I wasn't using a pattern, but the skirt has been deemed blog worthy so here it is.

We have another one in the works. It is a blue fabric with hydrangeas. I'm making them really long with extra elastic so they can be worn for awhile. I hope she still likes the fabrics in a few years.
Spencer is finally potty trained. It took almost a year, but we finally found a reward that got him to consistently go to the bathroom on the toilet, playing LEGO Batman. To celebrate his success I made some new dolls for him and added a cape to previous doll. Now he has a batman and two Robins to play with.

cute skirts!! I don't have a daughter but I have seen some really short skirts on girls at church her age. Love the dolls. Ben Benn is no where near potty training, but I think after I have this baby I will start enforcing it.
A friend gave me a tip for girls skirts, I have to pass on! I go to DI and get an adult size skirt and take it in. The adult sizes are always too short for adults but perfect for girls! And the styles are always really cute! But I have to say, modest clothes don't get any easier as they get older! I don't know why they think our young girls have to dress like teenagers. It's not easy! It's a good thing our mothers taught us how to sew.
I love the twirling Lauren! Cute skirt! I better get busy teaching Emma how to sew so she can do the same for her daughters. Thank goodness for the personal progress program and 10 hour goals! I love the dolls too and congrats to Spencer for finally figuring out how to make his mommy happy ;~)
I use Feedjit to track my blog. It's located at the bottom of my blog. It's been good. Just click on it and it will take you to their page and you can get one for your's:)
I havn't had that problem yet, maybe it is because I am in Utah. I also get all my clothes from Aunt Diane so she already only has modest stuff so I guess I havn't actually had to look. You have a great talent there.
So does Spencer! One of these days. . I will be ready to potty train Sam. . for some reason I am not yet. I am not ready to clean the horrible messes that come with the process yet.
