10 Favorite Things

Here are my current top 10 favorite things, in no particular order.

Singing hymns at church

Jane Eyre

Jane Austen

Goat cheese with anything; honey, salad, pizza

Cross-stitching and watching PBS

Christmas

Big kitchens (this one is a tad big, but doesn’t it look nice!)

Buying clothes at end of season clearances (everything under 10 dollars!)

Rainy days, provided they aren’t too chilly

Seeing family, but definitely not the trip getting there. I used to love the travel when I was a kid, now I’m the adult and the travel is not the best part anymore.

Oh many of those are my favorites too! I think I'll copy your favorites idea and do it on my blog.
I've just begun reading the Jane Austen books! I bought a big book way on sale after Christmas that has Pride and Predudice, Jane Sense and Sensibility, Emma, and Persuasion. I've always been a bit intimidated by them. Especially after I tried to read Wuthering Heights(not the same author, but just as old, just as British, and just as wordy). So far I love Sense and Sensibility, but I'm only about 1/3 through.

I love just about all of those things...except the goat cheese - I don't love it so much. :)

I can't wait to read your favorites list. I have the book pictured with all of Jane Austen's stories. I love them all. Sense and Sensibility was even better the second time I read it. Don't forget to read Lady Susan. It is a series of letters, very short, but so hilarious. The only Jane Austen heroine who is not so virtuous. You'll love them all.

Super fun to read your top 10. I have never tried goat cheese, I'll have to. Thanks for doing this :).

I have that Jane Austen book you have pictured as well. I read Pride and Prejudice after my friends and I had a "Pride and Prejudice Marathon. We first watched the 5 hour one with Collin Firth, then the LDS version, then "Bride and Prejudice" and then the one with Keira Knightley. All in one day! Can you believe it? I went home and read the book and liked it. Next I am going to try to tackle "Sense and Sensibility". I may have to see the movie again first however.
